We were two coworkers in Colorado with growing baseball-cap collections. Every cap had a connection—to a team, a trip, or a memory. But bins, shelves, and over-the-door organizers kept turning those collections into storage.
We wanted a way to see the front of every cap and make the collection part of the room. When generic hooks didn’t give us the display we wanted, we started designing our own.
SO WE BUILT A BETTER WAY.
Through sketches, prototypes, and refinements, we created The Original Squatchee™: a patented, peel-and-stick hook designed specifically for baseball caps. Its curved shape keeps the front of each cap visible, so your collection looks like a display—not storage.
WHAT’S A SQUATCHEE?
It’s the fabric-covered button on top of a baseball cap—pronounced “skwot-chee.” Our design supports the cap at that point, so the name fit from the start.
